salvage yards with kubotas

(quoted from post at 23:14:37 06/04/14) I don't know about a salvage yard, but Kubota will have the unit, but at a $price.
Yeah, kubota has it, really just need the output shaft, it's pretty high.

Around here you never see them in salvage yards, unless they burned in a structure fire, or had a accident, (collision or rollover).

There's one in Shippensburg PA, can't remember the name right
now, but they advertise in lancaster farming, you might find it in
their advertiser index...

Morgan, Any chance that steering gear box you need fit other models ? Be good to check that out as if it is same on other models that would give you more tractors to check at Salvage Yard. A dealer should be able to look up part numbers and tell you what all it fits.

Part number that you need along with part number of complete box would also be helpful to me. There are some search engines we can use on computer to find new and used parts by entering the O.E.M. part number.

ill, thanks. The part number for the shaft is 32721-92300. I called one yard today, but his first question was "three cylinder or four cylinder?". Apparently there was a gray market l2600 that was one or the other. I haven't seen the tractor yet, fixing it for a customer. Waiting on more info.

Morgan, If that is correct part number I only came up with new. No wonder you are looking for used . New appears to be over $600 ? Wow !

Good luck on finding used, at least you have plenty of leads. Problem is your time and phone expense on the hunt. Been there....Done That !

Good luck, Bill
