Thunderstorms put a stop to seeding today, not much rain, but enough to make it greasy again, just over half done seeding, still have some oats and a mix of stuff for silage to go in (oats, barley, hairy vetch, clover, whatever else i can find hiding in the shed)

I thought I recognized the Bourgault tank. Similar to mine, a 2115. Same problem too, rained out as of last night. Inch and a quarter in the past 24 hours. The ground is so saturated it won't absorb any more. It was slippery going yesterday but I guess today the ruts will be full of water. I took a pic this afternoon between storms.

hi rusty, yep, 2155... and full, it's as much as i want to pull this year... only stuck one (so far)... i only have clamp on duals for the massey... took them off, they fill with mud to easy then are no use at all, better traction with just the single tires this year. where are you located?? i'm on the manitoba side of the man/sask border

Believe it or not my axle mount duals have filled up with mud several times this spring. Takes a bit of driving to eventually work that out. I think my 1992 Goodyears are about ready for replacement.
I'm about an hour west of Yorkton if that tells you anything. These thunderstorms we had this afternoon are likely hitting you about now.

(quoted from post at 05:12:23 06/05/14) Any more you tube video this spring? Always enjoy Your field work shows.
Nothing for field work videos. It has been such a late start, high pressure planting season that I have just not taken the time to do any serious videos. Got a couple of auction sales and a trucking video from the earlier part of May and thats about it.

Cool video of the 40.. Im looking for something like that these days to restore... way back in the 50s/60s my Pop ran a Cockshutt dealership/service center about an hr sth of Yorkton. Im near Calgary these days, storms went thru here yesterday but didnt amount to much more than the wind and a light show, still blowing crazy.

Some amazing rigs in the fields these days, I got to take a Case IH quad trac for a spin just a couple days ago, nothin like that on the farm when I was a kid, was a treat for an old dog that hasnt been around the farm much since the '70s, was back out to the road before I thought of taking a pic tho so its pretty crappy
