I have a early 80's Mustang 1700 skidsteer. Wondering what people do for brakes. I can't seem to figure out where the brakes are for the machine and it would be so nice to have some! I was told there are no brakes on the machine but that would make no sense. any thoughts/pictures would be great. similar looking to the one in this link http://www.machinefinder.com/ww/es-US/machine/2104245

I"ve never seen any skidloader with brakes, nor the need for any. Machines should be adjusted so there is no creep when the levers are let go.

Drop the bucket to the ground, as needed.

If things get REALLY out of hand, tip the bucket down as you apply downpressure and lift the front wheels off of the ground!

NO brakes needed!

(I can say this without feeling bad abut it as I grew up driving an 8N Ford, and thank GOSH for the loader/bucket as that was the only brakes that SWELL piece of equipment ever had!)
