I received this picture in an email this morning
not sure if it happened here in MD. No details on the driver as to his injuries. Hal

I'm thinking that it is a drill of some sort. Look at the tiny little ditch and notice how badly the tractor is broken up. No way your going to bend rims, break wheel castings, bend ROP's ect unless the tractor rolls down a serious hill or falls off a truck at highway speeds.

Just did a Google Images search on this picture. It happened last April in MO. Tractor was hit by a semi, and farmer was seriously injured.

yes, im sure this person didn't wake up that morning, grab some coffee and decide to go out with their pretty new toy and try and or succeed in killing themselves. thanks for posting this el toro. you see this happen way too often. i think tractor/farm safety should be an on-going subject that is always fresh on our minds.

That is a lot of damage to be on level ground.
Harvesters, rotory mowers and other pto driven equipment has killed or injured more operators around me than tractors. Most rollovers I see are construction tractors. For some reason people in North Tx get injured starting in gear standing beside the tractor or driveing under low clearance.

I hope he comes out of it ok. When I was 16 I helped drag a man out from under an overturned tractor and carry him out if a steep ditch. He passed a few hours later. My knees were so weak I couldn't hardly walk. A year ago my son helped remove a neighbor from under an overturned tractor. Neighbor had passed away by the time he was found. The outcome is almost never good for the driver. Jim

Look in the left-hand bottom corner, pavement and white stripe. This looks to me like on a highway, he got whammed by somebody, at high speed. I odn"t think it was just a roll-over.

Well, not only are you right about the road, BUT NOTICE:

The tractor is point TOWARDS the direction of on coming traffic, so my guess would be that either he was going the WRONG way to start with, or someone hit him, and flipped him all the way around... Judging by the picture, I would go with the second my self... Shame to see... Bryce

Local news this morning. 34yr old teacher was cutting grass on a riding lawnmower with his child. He tipped over and was killed, the child is ok.

My cousin died on a rollover he called in but was gone by the time they got there.also looks like no shoulder were lucky and have shoulders but people dont realise that a lot of times with the noise you cant here traffic or your watching what your doing and not traffic
