1920's IH tractor

Points, condenser, little metal particals, and worse case is -- not enough magnatisum. Some stuff you can do yourself but a real magneto repairman is a must. Also a bunch of parts on those real old units are gone. My dad used to do a lot of repairs for neighbors and some restore guys. Jeffcat
 
I took a spare mag to a swap meet. The Mag Man there did not want it. Said he had a hundred at home just like it. You should be able to find a replacement or another to swap parts from.
Take your time and you should be able to get it to work.

Touch the magnets with a flat blade screwdriver to see if they have strong magnetism. Also rub the points with a piece of 320 wet or dry and make sure they're set at .013." There's a man in

PS: If the magnets have strong magnetism your coil maybe weak.
