Well I am back again with the same vibration problem
Lt is in the tractor for sure but I don"t know where but I have a few things that I think it is.I think it is the PTO clutches. If so does anyone know what needs to be done to fix this? Then i noticed the pulley on the crank shaft has a slight wabble but I don"t know if that could be a problem or not.I ran the tedder with this tractor today and there was a very slight vibration when pulling a hill and ran smooth when going down hill.

I have no knowledge of JD's but if that slight wobble turns into a bigger wobble you will have spendy troubles.

Sounds like the damper pulley....replace before it goes through the radiator......much cheaper that way. There, I just saved you a thousand bucks! Use it to buy the pulley.

Go for the dampner, look at it very carefully. If there is any movement in the pulley (other than around and around) wiggle on it with a small bar and look at the rubber between the outer pulley and inner hub. If it looks puffey or soft and tender, replace that dampner before the crankshaft is broken. The reason it is there is to prevent harmonic stress that is powerful enough to actually snap the crank. On a 1 to 10 scale how difficult is the dampner to change or should I call my local dealer for a trip to the farm?

The vibration is fixed the dampner pulley was bad.Cannonball put me on this last August but I could not visibly see anything wrong. It eventually started a wobble and I could feel the rubber coming apart.Local dealer changed it and the vibes went away.

Thanks everyone for the help
