re-country living

thanks for the kind comments concerning photos. yes
it is a lot of work but as I have aged I have become
less of a people person so I am most content here in
the country. so tired of people in town with
traffic, tattoos, body piercings, sagging britches,
entitlement hips and every body on a cell phone. so
I occupy myself with; wife of 47 years, 2
sons/granddaughters within a mile of us, tractors
and gardening. after reading John t' s post below I
determined I am not a kibtizer. geezer, old codger
maybe, but not a kibtizer, although I did feed some
"kibtizer and bits" to my dog once.

Pete, I have said for a long time, "I would rather live in a tent in the country, than to live in a penthouse in town!" Ain't nothin' like country livin'! Or, to put it another way, I would as soon breathe country air when the neighbors are cleaning out the barn, than to breathe the polluted air in a city!

Love that country gives you a chance to make a little extra cash on the side and my wake up alarm is the birds singing no way could i live uptown

I haven't heard the birds sing for years. My wife says the birds are really singing this morning, but I can't hear any of them. I'd rather hear a beef cow calling for her calf than a bird singing anyway.

LOL! My wife works at Wally-World and the first 3 days of the month is when all the "entitlement hips" invade the store. The rest of the month it's just the "Wall-Martian" regulars.

Those of you who don't know what a Wall-Martian is, just type in "The People of Wall-Mart", sit back and be prepared to laugh yerself silly.
