I tried to post a messaage on implenent form. Says I am usin g bad words. All I asked was whetre I could buy a Operators Manual for a John Deere Van Brunt Grain drill. What words are Wrong?

I ordered mine from the parts counter at my local John Deere dealer.

you have a better john deere dealer than I do. Mine said not in computer. too bad. sorry

Did you have the model # to give them? If so, they were blowing smoke up your (nose) to say they couldn't order a manual.

If you did NOT have the model #, there's NO way they could help you.

(DEERE bought Van Brunt back in 1911 and kept their name alongside the DEERE name for MANY years and MANY models 'cuz Van Brunt had such a good "rep" in the seeding equipment world.)

Likewise, if you call the DEERE corporate # I posted you will need the model #. If you don't know what you have, post a photo here, as there's LOTS of knowledgeable folks who will help you identify it.

Bob, Yes I had the model number. You are right. they just give me the brush off. I called the number you gave me this morning and the operators manual is on the way. I had choice of a book or CD for the computer. TRhanks a lot for the help Kathleen
