Guy have me this little garden tractor today and I am trying to find what make and age it is. It has a Lauoson engine on it. Actually has a reverse. Tillers stearing mechanism

You sure wouldn't want to be the one driving it when the belt to the rear axle goes!

Does look somewhat like the 53 Beaver but definitely not what it is. Steering is different ant the wheel bolt pattern is different. This thing has free wheeling wheels with some sprockets on the axles that a spring loaded dog on the rim center catches to rotate the tires. It is a Lauson TCL 349 2.3 hp engine. The engine sn puts it around 1948.
