Anyone know how to tell what year this was made? All I see is the model plate on the right side of the trans but no ser.#. If by the serial number then where would it be located. Thanks.

Jim

All I can find from Tractordata is that B8200 built from 1983-1990 and that SN # located on left side of transmission. But if you do find SN# it says SN# info not available ???

So I went to my IRON SOLUTIONS guide and it does give SN# info. It also says SN# found on RH side of clutch housing/transmission case?? They also show B8200 from 1981 to 1990. 1981 SN# 10002 and 1990 #65599. So according to that if you can find a number between 10002 to 65599 we should figure out your year of manufacture. If you find a number I will look in book and try to match it up.

Jeff as the other poster says the books says 90 but in reality about the last ones we saw in the us was mid 1987 . If you found the model plate the serial number should be on it and it is also stamped in the transmission tube.

I'll look again but I didn't find anything the first time. Maybe I missed it. I'll check the areas noted a bit more carefully.

The B8200s were made from the early/mid 1980s to the very early 1990s.

I have a B1750HSD bought new in 1993 (best machine of any type that I have ever bought). The B1750 replaced the B8200.
