is the ice all melted on lake superior yet? just curios because early on they said it would take a long time to melt this year.

GORE better explain global warming better. Maybe all he would have to do is open his eyes and use some common sense.But am afraid he never had any and never will. ldj

Hey don't be bad mouthing Cousin Al (He's a 6th or 7th cousin). It's not polite to pick on the intellectually challenged. It's our fault for letting the DC crowd get away with this junk. When they started talking about global warming we should of demanded proof. Remember science is like high school algebra, if you can't show your work it doesn't count. We were duped on the global warming thing. Remember the saying "fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me"? Next time they come out with a load of this junk science we need to demand proof, we want to see all the work, all the math and all the assumptions. If the findings have short term predictions we need to take new data as it becomes available and plug it in to the equations to see how close the original predictions were. If they're not close discredit the theory and demand the government repay any money they spent on the paper or reaction to it. And by repay I mean meaningful cuts in wages and benefits of the department that fostered the pile of doggie doo-doo refereed to as science. If this doesn't happen start recall petitions for your representatives and senators, you'll only have to recall 'em once or twice before their survival instinct kicks in and they'll have to find other ways to grab your freedom and take your money.

Of course I'm one of those radicals that believe government funding should be tied to the GDP, if they do something that reduces the GDP by 5% next year's budget is 95% of this years, that way we all feel the pain of their stupid decisions, this we screw up and don't feel any pain method we got going now is not sustainable. If saving an endangered box turtle costs 3.5 billion dollars let them pay, as for me I like turtle soup.

It isn"t "climate change" anymore either. Now it"s "climate disruption". Sounds much scarier doesn"t it?

While I didn't hear how much ice is still on it.... News said the Coast Guard just ended ice breaking for the season after 160+ days.

I wish they'd find something that works and forget about it. Seems like every five to ten years there's a new cause and a new cure.

Come to think of it,maybe we did solve it. It used to be global warming,but by the believers own admission it isn't getting any warmer anymore.

I think I heard somewhere the other day that they have already changed that to "climate chaos".

Why don't they just quit playing games and pass a huge "climate tax"? Everybody will feel good about paying it to save the planet.

Still some ice on Lake Superior. Not hard enough to bother the lake boats but around 14% last I heard. So much for global warming BS.
