Need Tires.......

Well, title says it all.... I need some tires..

Luckily though, they are for my four wheeler!!

Does anyone have any kind of tread that they really like??? Price is kind of a big decision, however mine were SOOOO worn out that my left rear LITERALLY came apart today on my way to work...

Here is what I need

Kawasaki Bayou 300, 2wd

24 x 11.00 - 10
22 x 9.00 - 10

Rears NEED to be able to hold a "high way" style chain.

Price needs to be O K.

Needs to have good grab in wet/muddy stuff.

Needs to wear well, slowly!!

Needs to be able to hold up to rocks...

I have a place that I can always get a good buy on tires, however I don't know if he is going to be able to get me a good tread...

Is there anything special I should have for the front, or does it really matter because it is only a 2wd??

I would REALLY appreciate any imput! Thanks, Bryce

Bryce, unfortunately you are asking for three separate things that one tire wont do. Mud tires are open. Good wearing tires typically are a very dense tread. You might find one of those that handles the rocks better if it has a higher ply rating.

I put Carlisle All Trails on my golf cart after I installed the lift kit. They are great all around tires, they hardly look like they have worn after 6 years. The do ok/pretty good in muddy conditions. My golf cart doesnt have a locker, so one wheel spinning in the mud dont do much anyway. I have mostly clay with a fair amount of rocks. At the time I bought them, I think they had either 2 or 3 different ply ratings.

Overall I have been pretty happy with them. I thought about more of a mud tire on the back, but the kids use it around the yard too, so I decided to keep what I have.

I got 4 wheeler tires from internet place called "Motorcycle Superstore" not sure what treads they have but prices were better than local

Probably on-line somewhere you will find a good deal even with shipping . I think I got cheap ATV tires at JC Whitney 's site. Like the other guy said you want miracle tires. What kills ATV tires is turning on pavement .If you stay off road they will last much longer.
