OT interior paint

Is this paint bad? After ten minutes of power mixing it still has large fibrous lumps. New can purchased March 8 of this year.

You could probably buy gallon strainer an strain then use. its dry latex someone didn't rotate there stock. You could try to take back, I have seen that many times strained and used. Could also be from being forzen.

Thats a skin..that was on top...paint was too warm when canned..its fine.

I wouldn't use it. See if they will replace it.

When latex goes bad it smells horrible. Just strain and use it. I've used 30 year old latex and it was fine other cans I've opened and they smelled so bad I couldn't get out of the room fast enough.

I say keep stirring. I have bought old stock Ronan sign painters paint that I had to use my wifes cake mixer just to get the pigments off the bottom mixed back up.Once it was good consisentcy it worked fine to paint with. Her brownies did taste like paint after that.

It will probably be ok if you keep mixing.
Latex paint thats been frozen gets rubbery or sometimes has a cottage cheese consistency. Once it goes bad from freezing there's no saving it. What you have appears to be old paint that's settled out.
