El Nino starting up?

Weather guessers are saying about a 50/50 chance of an El Nino developing. They're characterized by warmer and drier winters across the northern tier of the country, and wetter in the southwest.

Sounds like just what the doctor ordered, all around. Bring it on.

I can never figure that out, this anomaly, but when you look back, and I hate the high heat with high humidity, and at times it does linger much too long, we always, or eventually get the cool dry sunny days too, I mean these are the days you live for around here and you do remember them. Only problem is that transition, it gets a little rough sometimes with the storms. Only in 2007 can I recall it was such a perfect summer, those days outnumbered the hot humid ones, it rained like once a week and was just a pleasure to work outside in because even the bugs just don't seem to be nearly as bad as when its a tropical jungle out there, last year this time we had almost 2 weeks of that weather, apple, pear and apricots blossoms were well pollinated, bore a lot of fruit, then the bottom dropped out til August it seemed, high heat, humidity and the rainfall amount was like what the great northwest is known for.
