Went to Southern Illinois yesterday

First I have to say Happy Mothers Day to all the mothers and our mothers that are out there. Hope you have a good day today.

Yesterday was my wife's birthday so I took her to Cave In Rock Il to see the cave in the rock along the Ohio River and then to see the Garden of The Gods in Shawnee National Forest. It was all well worth the day trip. Took a picture of an old farm homestead to keep it ag related...LOL! Also saw this old trencher along the way. Looks like it was mounted on an old steam engine frame. I wish I would have walked up to it and got some better pictures.
Would love to go thru the old house too. Hope you enjoy.

the trencher - tiling machine is about 15 mi from me -my dad said he remembered it being uused in the forties
