Lots of money working in this field today

Passed by this field today, lots of expensive equipment working there and all new. Dont ask me what all the implements are for as I dont know but thought you farming guys might like them.

They are hilling potatoes. Here we don't hill until the potatoes are ready to come out of the ground-usually 2-3 weeks after planting.
 
ah, spud planting.... first two photos are bed forming... first one in the background are a bed tiller (blue machine) and two destoners (red machines)...

years ago when i worked on a spud farm in the wets of England, me managed to park 4 complete sets of machinery in one 2 acre field, so 4 planters, 4 destoners (used to remove clods and stones from the soil in the beds) and 4 bed tillers... couldn't move of cause!

Beds are usually on 72 inch wheel spacing and have either two or three rows of potatoes in them
 
On the Deere tractor, on the center front of the roof, is that a GPS unit? At first I thought it might be the antenna for a satellite phone, but then I couldn't figure out WHY anyone would want a satellite phone on a tractor.
