Hey, dad talked to our local UPS driver this morning. He said that I need to get a few pictures, when it sent, the date you got it, etc. I gave dad a picture of them on the baler (the one I showed you) and then I printed out the picture that you posted on here, broken... DO NOT try to fix them, or throw away the box if you haven't already... I would have called you, but I think it is a little late, 8:45 here, 11:45 there?? Seeya, Bryce

Okay, Got the box yet and did take a pic of the needles showing a fresh break on both of them. Let me know what you need.

Something looks fishy ????? don't know if it is but sure looks it !

Fresh break on one half and mostly rusty on the other half ?

Halfs in the picture don't even look like they would match up ? Unless it's the camera angle ?

Geez , you people must really think I'm a crook! Bryce already knows the one needle had been welded before he shipped them. Penetration wasn't very good from previous weld as you can see, nothing I did.

I bought a set of final drives for a Gravely (geared wheels) from a guy in Wisconsin and UPS managed to break the casting on one of those. It had to have been dropped from a high distance.

Maybe you're seeing it as I did on first glance.
After looking again I see from left to right, needle, broken piece
from that needle, second needle, broken piece from that needle.
Looks like they would match fine that way.
Second needle looks to be the one that was poorly welded.
First one looks to be a clean, new break.
I hope they were insured, but even with that, some things are
getting harder and harder to replace.
