Old Deere commercial, before sound I guess. Absolute insanity doing this in front of a crowd of people.

I can't figure out how they got it back over, hard to see, slowly too. The only thing I can think of is the demonstration shows extremes, what it takes turn one over. That had to be a mess, all the oil, being upside down. I recall what a mess it was when one of the diligent help, whom my father was responsible for hiring, turned over the 33 hp challenger compact tractor on a manure pile, hydro locked the cylinders, had to take the injectors out, it sent oil to the underside of the tin of the roof when cranked to clear it, then the air intake duct was full of oil, the filter and all the rest, just a darned mess when they go over. I was not happy to have to deal with it at all, always happens over the weekend when you are not there too. That one could not have been much different, unless it was built to allow for this, just makes a mess and is not so good for the guy in the seat.

That was not a Deere commercial. They did that at fairs around here to demonstrate what could happen if safety standards were not followed

Dad said he laid a 1947 Deere A over. He said it was a slow roll onto it's side. He mentioned the battery acid coming out but he didn't say any more. It had a Caswell loader on it at the time and there was no physical damage to anything. Jim
