Murphy's Law stikes again!

So why didn't they shoot Murphy before he made those laws?

I've been repairing my JD4430 for the last several weeks, close to a month. I replaced the quad range(slipping in low), put in a combine engine(original started knocking, main bearing?), and repair the air conditioning.

Got running yesterday, took it out for a drive today and while out, the replacement engine started knocking and MAJOR blow by. Sounds like a broken piston.

Now I get to do the engine all over again. At least I didn't get into the air just yet.
 
Looks like he struck your spelling, too! (See title.) It takes the "downs" to make us appreciate the "ups."
 
Well, I guess you could look at it this way, you already have the original engine out, so you can tear it down and asses the damage, then decide which engine to repair. Still a bummer, either way.
 
I fend it herd too blive any1 on this 4um findes it nesassary to point out a misspeled word !!!
 
Looks like you typed on one of those table thingys !
They like to add numbers instead of letters a lot of the times.
 
And here I thought Murphy lived at my place. He must have jumped out of the truck when I was over your way last Friday.
 
About the spelling.
We have all seen the mis-spelled words that you can read because the first an last letter were correct. Right!
