Bill, I can't see any specific identification on the vehicle. It resembles something built by American Motors, (formerly Nash) in the early sixties, but not quite. I would say, no matter what it is, it should be somewhat rare and collectible. Seems to be an excellent specimen.

OK, So I remembered a little book that I have entitled, "American Cars from the 1950s". I was partially correct. American Motors was formed by a merger of Nash and Hudson automobiles in an effort to keep both afloat. The vehicle in the photo seems to be a 1956 or possibly 1957 Rambler. It states that in 1956 it was sold under both logos, but in 1957 it became a make of its own. So yes, they are quite rare. They were good vehicles but the company was on a downhill slide and never recovered. As I said, this one seems to be quite complete. I haven't kept up with them so I can't say how readily available parts would be,and it would be advisable to inquire about such, but if it is for sale, I personally, would give it some serious consideration.

Rare and collectible don't always go hand in hand.
Look at the 1955-1957 Chevy's. Some of the largest production numbers ever and still the most desirable even today.

Not many made. Survival rate is less than most cars made then so yes, it's rare.
It looks to be very restorable.
Really not much demand though.
