I went to an auction today also, I scored a 50 gallon transfer tank with a 12 volt pump. New about $500 I got it for $100.
They only had 2 tractors one each 2-N and 8-N. The 2N had new rear tires and loop rims, did not run but not stuck. The carb was in a coffee can on the seat, taken apart. It had a hole where the top link should have been. I quit at 575 and let it go for $600. The 8N engine was stuck, poor tires one hat rim was rusted very bad at valve stem. The other hat rim "looked"ok, tin was poor. Went for $500. North central Indiana.

Wife and I went to an auction yesterdays. Cars parked along both sides of the road for close to a half mile, plus in the field. Had a restored El Camino and some tractors. Flyer said everything was stored inside and well kept. Looked pretty rough to me. Was interested in a 3PH snow blower but not enough to stay all afternoon. We left after a look around. They were just finishing the first wagon.

Don, I looked up those 2 radios, I bought for $9. About $125, each, on amazon. Turned out to be American made. Still you did better there, than I did. And with the rest of yesterday behind me, I am now better off, too...
