OT shark in back of pickup

Sometimes I have trouble fitting my catch in the back of the truck too.

I read about the catch, but I didn't think about it hanging out of the pickup bed like that. No wonder they couldn't keep it a secret. Thanks for the post.

BIG critter ! ! When I was a kid, my uncle (one of many) was a commercial fisher. Every time he came to town he would bring mom a (very nice) salmon One time he asked mom to come out to the truck for her fish - in the bed of the pickup was a Halibut with it's 'wings' wrapped up the sides and tail curled over. Sucker weighed 460# !!

My friend's wife bought an upmarket restaurant.....A shark was
caught off the coast of southern Ireland(unusually!) She went down
and bought it as a promotional thing......had her photo taken on the
harbour edge with this thing hanging up by the tail from a forklift
truck. It was about 10=12 feet long. about a week later I called at
the restaurant to get a taste of it and I think I just about got the last
piece! Real good eating and an excellent boost for her
business......Sam

I saw something similar in Tennessee, only it was a
catfish that barely fit in the back of a Nissan
pickup.
