I glanced out the kitchen window and saw a furry animal in the back yard. I went out the sun room door when I got out to him I think he wanted a belly rub.

Usually when found around here ya only find bits and pieces of fur . They just seam to explode .

I gave one a bit of a headache the other night. He'd been burrowing under the barn. He was out in the yard gnawing on some grass so I grabbed the .22. Wouldn't you know it,no bullets in it. I grabbed one but he was gone. I snuck out in my socks and he was sitting up right in front of the hole he had under the barn. Flattened him in one shot.

Haven't seen one of them yet this spring, but I did see a badger yesterday. Uncommon...only about the 5th or 6th I've ever seen.

i give them a headache every chance i get. seeing them standing there flipping me off and laughing at me, makes me a better shot somehow. plus im frugal minded and hate to waste bullets.
