Ideal Temp for Round Up spraying

I have a couple pf fields I need to spray. It's been cooler this week--frosty mornings and 50s-60s. How warm should it be to spray? I use my TO-30 to carry the spray rig.

You'd better wait until a few straight 70° days so there's more active growth. It's been a little to cold at night to get things popping.

As long as you can get a few hours without rain you are good to go. I may have to respray some from last fall. They came and sprayed with the frost thawing off that morning last fall.

Yep it will kill better when the temps are right for growth like Randy says.

When plants shut down for cold they also will not absorb the Roundup.

Roundup is absorbed thru the leaves, translocates to the roots to kill them. Has to be actively growing for that to happen. This time of year, location is key. Midsummer it should kill anywhere in this country.
