Ya but these trucks you can take the whole damn thing apart and screw it back togetherr with just normal tools! You also don't need above average normal brain cells. Just good old wrenchin. Jeffcat
 
Parts are available from several sources. Google macs early ford parts. Dennis Carpenter reproductions. That's just two of many.
 
Well, it may take a little work, but has great possibilities. You have somewhat of a rare bird, not just because it is a 1947 and there aren't too many of those left, but because of the six cylinder engine, since the majority of Ford trucks had V8s. Good luck on your project and keep us posted.
