Thanks for all the help in my last Dish Network question. I have decided my old 625 Receiver DVR has crapped out, so I plan to buy a new in the box HD DVR Dual Receiver (around $100) so have a few questions.
1) The new in the box HD with DVR Dish receivers I'm finding are Models 922 or 722 or 222. Which is the newest or best?? My guess is 922
2) I find them SLING LOADED and I find SLING ADAPTERS. What's that all about?? If I buy one that's labeled sling loaded, do I need a sling adapter or what??? I hope I can connect it to my TV?? Does it require an HDMI connection ONLY or still have the old Coax or Yellow/Red/White RCA or what??
3) Will this new receiver still work with my old Pizza Pan Dish Pro 500 dual LNB (110 & 119) orrrrrrrr must I also upgrade to a new Dish 1000.X series antenna with the 3 eyes (110 & 119 & ? for HD). Id like to just hook up my existing Dish Pro 500 dual LNB 110 & 119 antenna to this new receiver for a while, is that possible??? I have a one in two out Diseq switch thingy now where my cable from the dish connects to my receiver. I'm in Southern Indiana just barely east of where Chicago is and am on 110 & 119 currently, is that a 1000.2 or 1000.4 antenna I will need???
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I'm NOT interested in changing to Direct
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I'm NOT interested in calling Dish, I own all my own equipment, I have no long term contracts, I buy what programming when and where I want month to month AND NOT INTERESTED IN CHANGING
Whewwwwwwwwww thanks in advance
