woods brush hog blades

I have a older woods R105-2 (5 foot) very strong brush hog that I do a lot of mowing with and need some new blades for this summer. (1 1/2 pivot pin) seems as though they are getting expensive and harder to come by. My closest Woods dealers are over an hour away either north or south from south east Vermont. any thoughts? Maybe Pittsfield Mass or somewhere on the internet

In Pittsfield you have a few dealers--Pittsfield Lawn and Tractor,Maple Groove Equipment, and Dalton tractor

some in internet bought from there last year all sizes and good price. I just cannot rember the site but possibly google would find it. You will need hole size, length, thickness, off set , direction of cut. Sorry I cannot recall the site.

VtJoe I have a dealer, forty miles from me thai I have only visited three times in 12 years. The rest of the time I just call the parts dept. order the parts and they ship them to me UPS. Shipping is not as expensive as driving my old truck or losing the time on the road.

I have a woods cadet 72 I use it a lot. I was buying blades from the dealer, but found a place called flail master. I got my blades a lot cheaper than woods. The blades are a bit more thicker, but work ok. They are located in Nashville Tn .Not china. phone is 800-251-4020 Stan

call link_disallowed days ask for larry they sell blades by the bunches ususally a t a huge discount to dealers

thanks for the replies. I will look into them. just note... R N Johnson was closed by Deere last March, Keats (the Ford) dealer in Keene NH also has been closed
