After reading all the useful suggestions posted here, I pulled the skid steer out of the barn and was able to lift the arms with the f.e.l. on the 2510. Picked up a new battery at the local NAPA store, cleaned my cables and installed it. Since I had good access I removed the water separator filter and drained that, checked that when I turned the switch on, fuel pumped then replaced that filter. I purged the line right up to the injector pump, then open the injector line nuts on the top of the pump and cranked the engine. I got a small amount of fuel from one nut, but nothing from #3 nut (I couldnt loosen 2 as it seemed like it was not spinning properly) so I put it all back together, cranked, no start, no white smoke. Tried bleeding more with same results, finally gave up as battery was getting weak. Put the charger on and came home.
Any thoughts? This is a 3 cylinder yanmar diesel, read on line that they came be a bear to bleed.
