JD 750 value

I looked over a John Deere 750 tractor yesterday. Tractor is exceptionally clean, and runs like a new one, with 886 hr. showing. Everything looks original and the 3 pt. hitch works as it should. It has a five foot finishing mower.
Been a while since I have bought a tractor of any size and I am looking for my son.
I know there are many opinions of prices for tractors and the condition means a lot. This one seems to need nothing.
There asking price is $4,000.

Is it 2wd or 4wd? That would affect the value some.

Sorry for the oversight, it is 2 wheel drive.

Around here (New England) that is somewhere around reasonable for a 2WD in good condition. Maybe a whisker high.
