Over the weekend we had over 6 inches of rain followed by
almost 3 inches of snow overnight. Just gotta love living in
Wisconsin. Cold week coming up with more rain and snow
forecast. It will be a while before field work will start.

We kept the sap buckets hanging on the trees, hopeing for another run when your storm passes through here the next couple of days in central NY. Maybe get another decent run of maple sap, before we have to pull the plug on the 2014 season.

Well, we're supposed to have a freeze here in North Texas tonight and it was 71 yesterday. If we do, it'll set a record for the latest freeze. That ain't right folks. It just ain't right.

Yeah, we had sunny and warm Friday - went out and did some disking. Saturday got a terrific storm - tore up a lot of property, trees, power lines. Then 3 to 5 inches of rain, and today woke up to 2 inches of snow, and colder than a well diggers .....
