I was approved as an Eagle Scout on 11/9/11 it was SUPPOSED to be on the 11th, but last minute they changed the meeting to a few days earlier... I thought that would have been SO COOL!! Bryce

Another crazy date was. In 1988 I was 44 and born in 44. 44+44=88. Hope you guys born in 1950 can see it.

April 14th is Ruination Day, the day the Titanic sank, President Lincoln was assassinated and also Black Sunday in the dust bowl if I recall correctly.

Brings to mind, I can still remember where I was on 8-8-88 and 9-9-99. Was to young to remember the 7-7-77 date.

Yep, and 6-6-66, and 5-5-55. I am however too young to remember 4-4-44.

I remember 4/4/44. I would have been 9, going on 10 back then. I went barefoot all summer; I was used to walking in dry dirt until the fall of 1943 when the rains came and it stayed wet in 1944 so I walked around all summer with the mud squeezing up between my toes.
