Someone stole our trailer and we can not move our
tractors as needed. I am looking to buy a new one,
as I can"t fine a good used one. I have been looking
at State Line Trailers in Braddyville, Iowa.
They seem to have a good trailer at a fair price.
Does anyone know anything aboud this company or
their trailers. Their advertising looks good and the
product looks good. Any Comments Welcomed.

Pappy; rented one then purchased one as I really liked the idea of NO ramps. Sold it several years ago; it would be the way to go. Just think how easy loading row-crop tractors would be for you too!!

This is mine.. 18ft, 10k, fender width floor, wireless remote electric tilt, winch plate, extra stake pockets at the headache rack. diamond plate tear drop fenders. Picked it up in Jan. $5300.00
Really happy with it. Great people to work with. I would recommend them.

The magic questions are how big of tractors and what width are the wheels set at?

I have a 14K beaver tail, I like the extra width without fenders, but it is more work to get tractors on the higher bed.

Two things to look for. I like implement trailers with flip up ramps with spring assist. Make sure the knees of ramp are north of the pivot point otherwise ramps will kick up on you.

Second, I've have trailers with smooth tin fenders and those with diamond plate. Diamond plate is heavy duty, harder to dent and bent.

I think power coat is a harder paint. However once it gets rust under it the power coat pops off. Tend to thing they power coat over the rust at factory. So power coat is a love hate thing.

My sure-track trailer is a solid, good priced trailer 14k implement trailer, but I had to cut knees off the ramps, make my own which is way more forward. It has a 2 ft dovetail. Wish my trailer was lower to the ground.

I really like my 5 ton tilt trailer-can drive vehicles, lawn mowers, atv's on it. only down side is it is 69 inches wheel well width but my small dozers fit on it

Check out the PJ trailers at Becker's near Lacrosse WI...they had the one I wanted for $1800 less than the same trailer out here. They sell on Ebay also.

I have a 102 X 34' Load Trail with hyd dovetail GN rated at 20K. That hyd dovetail is REALLY nice. I got it Illinois Trailer, Monticello, IL.

I vote for deck over also, just in case you need to haul a car, the fenders won't be a problem for the doors to open. Think about extra long ramps so a car won't bottom out transitioning the ramps to deck. Think of what will suit your needs now and what might your needs be in the future...rare to have too much/too big.

Ive had 3 H&H trailer in the past with zero issues. They went bankrupt and another company from out east bought the H&H brand name while the old owners build trailers under the Hull name now.

I bought a new trailer from Beckers a while back which was a Big Tex 30 foot 'low pro' with tandem duals. Ended up the whole rear suspension sub assembly was welded in the trailer crooked and it dog tracked really bad going down the road. I took it back and the one I have now had an alignment done on it at Allied tire in Des Moines and it still doesn't pull straight and all my adjusters are maxed out. I think Big Tex's quality went downhill, theres quite a few small corners cut on my trailer.

I should have listened to some others and just went ahead an bought the PJ trailer...... :?

One thing I can say is that the low pro style goosenecks really do have a pretty low deck on them. Im 6'4 and the deck is just a few inches above my knee

I have an H&H that has been a bunch of headaches before it was deliverd and got worst from there. No dealer or Manfacturer support. POS !
I have friends with Corn-pro and Feather-Lite which have been very good trailers. 20K GN deck-overs, they tow like a dream. I second the motion for the hydraulic beaver tail. Moving the one on the Corn-Pro with an implement jack is a PITA !
Sorry to hear about the stolen equipment. As disappointed as I am with my H&H it would still be a major loss to lose it to theft.

I have a 30' flatbed gooseneck with an 8,000 lb winch and a 28' PJ bumper pull tilt trailer. Trying to figure out where I can mount a winch on the tilt when the bed is tilted.
