What will you harvest next?

From the posts that I've read, it looks like maple syrup harvest is about over.

What is the next product that will be "harvested" on your place?

Fowl, livestock, wood, berries, hay, grain, or????????

Rhubarb.
I'm not including all the sticks that are in the yard and still needing to be picked up...some of those will become kindling but that's not worthy of "harvest".

Other than dog poop and sticks/branches, hay some time around memorial day or June 1st.

Probably ramps in a few weeks. They grow in the woods. They are a member of the leak family and have a strong smell. I like mine with scrambled eggs and fried potatoes.

My meat birds. I picked them up today. Should be ready to butcher the last week of May. Other than that it will be wheat. Fairly dismal crop, though.

Will be harvesting some Ash logs and firewood before the Emerald Ash borer kills them. Hard to watch those 60 to 80 ft. trees die. 40 years ago it was the Dutch Elm disease that robbed us of some majestic trees now this

Last of the beans are coming off now, but there is still some barley, raddish clover and other small seeds to get. Harvest is running late this year down under and winter is on its way fast now.

Asparagus next, then early garden stuff, followed by wheat. Then apples, grapes, late garden stuff, soybeans. Before long it"ll be snowing again.

Bought some fresh harvested tomatoes at the Amish store last night, came from one of their hot houses in northern Missouri.

I need to get out and dig some sassafras roots. Then in late May, I'll go back to harvesting squirrels. Should have some hogs ready for market by then as well.
