6070 brakes

Has Anyone overhauled the brakes on a 6070 Allis.
Was told that the cyclider in the housing was leaking and need to be replaced. Dealer ship wants 1500.00 - 2000.00 for one side .

I guess you are losing brake fluid. Only trouble I have had with the brakes on a 6060 is the lines from the reservoir to the master cylinder deteriorated. I thought I was having brake trouble last year. The brake petals would slowly go to the bottom when you pushed them individually, but if pushed both at once worked fine. Just had a weak return spring and needed oiled. The final drives look like they would come off easy. Can't see how would cost that much to take one off and replace seals. Both sides won't be leaking. I have a factory repair manual, I will look and see what is involved in replacing brakes. Vic

Thanks!
mine does almost the same thing right is very spungy the left stays pretty strong.
Don"t see any fluid unless its inside the housing. will look at the lines and see if its in that area.
The wheel set up seems to be an easy removeal just heavy .
