OT photos in cell phone

How can I get photos from the cell phone to a file in my computer? When I plug the phone a box pops up but disappears before I can read what it's for. Thanks
 
Mine does the same. Mine is down in the lower left corner (send to) and you have to hit is fast. Set up a contact with your E-mail address. Then send it to that. It will show up in your spam file.
 
If you want to upload directly into your computer via a wire - you need a special adapter. I bought them for all our phones. Costs around $5.

If you have the correct cable - usually a USB on one end and a mini USB on the other end just plug the phone in.
Then go to Start/Programs/Windows Explorer.
Take a look at your drives and find your phone.
 
if you computer is new enough you can just Bluetooth the pics to the computer from the phone, no wires
 
I've got a wireless file transfer app for my Android tablet. When you start up the app, it tells you how to get files to your computer. Phone would need to have a Wi-Fi capability, though.
 
No problem for me with the iPhone. I use the same cable used to charge the phone. open up My Computer and select the drive the phone is plugged into via the USB port. Copy them and paste them in the folder you want to.
 
Your's might be like mine. With it I could email, etc if I had that service, but I don't. Instead I had to get an adapter that lets me plug the little SIM card into the USB port on the computer and I have to download that way.
