806 second hydraulic setup

I have a 806 with two hydraulic levers but only one set of remotes in the back. I was curious to know how hard it was to plumb a second set to the back. can I just run a set of hose from the hydraulic couplers under the fuel tank to the back? Do I need to install a break-away back there or can I just use quick couple fittings?

You dont NEED breakaways on the rear. But if the
implement ever becomes loose, that will save the
hoses, and lots of money on repairs!

Break aways don't have to be complicated. Most
places that sell the couplers will also have a
clamp type arrangement that clamps around the
collar on the coupler and attaches that to the
tractor.

In the event of the implement coming unhitched the
hose pulls on the body of the coupler and the
collar is attached to the tractor which releases
the hose. This all sounds much more complicated
than it really is. Simple version is the bits to
make the breakaway work would be no more than $10
plus your couplers which you need anyway.

If you are plowing with a plow that has a hitch
that will release when a obstruction is
encountered breakaway couplers on the hydraulics
are a absolute must. For other things it is
highly recommended.

here are you at in AK? Alaska rubber is not very helpful with tractor hydraulic parts, but they can get most anything you need as long as you can explain exactly what it is. Couple of the napas have a pretty good selection as well.
