vsg411 engine same as ???? any ford industrial guys

cant find any overhaul kits for this motor and individual parts are spendy. Someone told me the 1.6 liter ford parts will cross except the crank. Can anyone verify or disprove this. I havent checked specs yet but you guys know more than most!!! It is on a 542b skidloader and the motor is a ford vsg 411. Thanks again for any help.

If its the V4, it takes the same pistons, rings, rod and main bearings as does the 2.8 used in the ranger puckups, back in the 80's.

The Ford Kent engine had a long life and was spec'd many different ways,
I would guess many parts are interchangeable

Rangers used 2.9 litre engines. I think S-10's used the 2.8.

Ford used 2.8 in the rangers starting in 1983, before that, they were in mercury bob cats. 1988 is when the 2.9 was put in the rangers, bumped up to 3.0 and then the 4.0. Ford also had a 2.6 V6 in small mercury cars.
