These are some pics of of how my brother stretched the hood after we changed to a 4230 engine. I don't have a picture of the 4020 donor hood. It appeared to have been run over and straightened out with an ax head and a ball peen hammer. The exhaust lined up perfectly and since the hood was original to the tractor all other holes as well. 11.5 inches was cut off the end of the 4020 hood and split it and narrowed. The tractor has been repainted since the first time I posted pictures as he was not happy about how it turned out. Muffler still on order.
