An interesting homemade tractor.Is'it incredible how our inspired imagination and intelegence can invent something indescribable.I used an index written in idelable ink.

I like the front tires, I've got a tractor with those.

I tell people it's so I can safely take it on the highway.

DeltaRed,my great uncle had one similar to that one.I still have it.It has a model a engine, and a rear end from an old truck.My great uncle called a doodlebug,

My guess is pushing!
No control and the tree usually falls toward the machine.
One of my friends almost did not survive that - (no canopy)!
It is much safer to pull with a long chain!
 
I am embarrassed to say that it was just sitting there but within striking distance of a tree that I was pushing over in the opposite direction with my 941B--roots made the tree spin and it spun the 941b around and came back at me.
 
You may already know this but your tracks are on backwards. The wide end of the link (pin) and track shoe grouser go over the front idler first traveling in a forward direction to obtain maximum undercarriage wear.
 
How about idiot some days I am right there.like last weekend got the little mf35 stuck trying to come up out of the woods.I had to winch it out with the mf165 but. Not until backing one rear tire up against a tree .oh well maybe I will know better the next time.yea right.
