They are also called a Harobed. Wondered how that name came about, so googled it. Found that the company that originally made them (before being bought out by New Holland) was the Harobed company, named by spelling the founder's daughter Deborah's name backwards. She had a sister Lana, but the reverse name spelling didn't work out so well, in that case.

Nice looking equipment.
I have older equipment too, nothing wrong with that at all.
All paid for !
I have a New Holland stack wagon like that also, in fact all my haying equipment is all New Holland except a rake .
I quit fooling with hay 3 years ago ,put all the equipment in the shed and just let it set.
Just don't know if I want to fool around with it again or not..

GRAIN DRILL

GREEN means GROAN to me as I am thinking of all green tractors and equipment I will have to look at today since I am one of those that believe "If it ain't RED, keep it in the shed !"..............Only kidding of course, but the one thing I learned from my Dad is never miss a chance to kid your friend who makes his living with another color equipment. At first I I didn't understand as I like all equipment whatever the color ? He grinned and said, kid them when you get the chance for they will get you back when they can! He was so right. ☺

So , let's see your green as I had my chance yesterday with all the Farmalls.

(quoted from post at 18:48:53 03/18/14) No Royse, that is a Taurus .17HMR built as a Winchester 1906 clone. Nice rifle though.
Thanks, here's a shot of my old Stevens. You can see the similarities!

Sweet, what is the name of that picture? I had completely forgotten that one hung in the front room on the farm. I can see just where it was. Wow - memories.

Notjustair,

It is called "Grace". My grandma had it in her home... I love it also for the memories. I should purchase a print.

I just looked it up on Wikipedia. Apparently it originated from a black and white photo of a man taken in Minnesota! Was then hand-painted in color by the man's daughter.

Learn something new every day... it became the 14th official MN State Symbol in 2002 (which was news to me).

Very short but interesting read if the facts are correct. Here is a link to it.

Cash crop. This is now just bare dirt. This is one of two we took down. We have six more to take down, lots more lights and heaters.

That's a neat Oliver!! I don't think I've ever seen that particular model. There's not too many in this part of the country.
