What is a fair price on these used parts?

I started to realize that I had a surplus of parts on a Case 440. I thought maybe I would put this drawbar system up for sale. So I thought that I would see what the prices where in the tractor part book butThey are not listed in the book. So my question is what is a fair price for the complete system with every thing in this picture. Thanks Brent

That swinging drawbar could be to me, worth a million dollars. I had the pin come out of the front of one on a 350 Case pulling a full fertilizer spreader down the road. It was very interesting watching that drawbar, still hooked to the spreader, chasing me down the road, bouncing along.

Nice looking drawbar. You can probably go on e-bay and find some pricing. You can look up similiar sold items to get an idea.

$100.- if you can find a buyer that is.

I have a whole pile of 1070 case engine parts.
Heads, timing gears, camshaft, injection pump, injectors and lines
+ a 2 book factory manual.
Bin trying to sell it for the last 10 years...Zero interest so far.
Local tractor wrecking yard ain't interested in it either( Yeah i can drop it of there but they will give me $0 for it) :roll:
At spring clean out it goes to the scrap yard with the rest of the scrap.

Unless you find someone who knows what they are and actually needs them your probably looking at scrap price.I think I would try them on ebay like someone suggested.I've got some parts and tractor weights I've had for sale for years with no interest.

I agree with the $100 just put them up for sale and sooner or later someone will want it.I sold some parts Saturday I had sitting in shed for 5 years that I got at an auction,made good $$$ and the parts didn't eat a thing while they were at my place.

Shame you are so far away. I have the rest of the parts to build an engine... Block, fresh crank.

As to the drawbar, it is worth whatever you can get. $100 to the right guy if he is out there. $10 a hundred to the scrap man.

ope, no sleeves, i chucked the block and crank,.crank broke and wrecked a main bore,the sleeves had ridges and were scored, same as the pistons.
I welded the con rods together with the flywheel as stand to make a bird feeder pole. :lol:

I went to some tractor part shop in town. They gave me some prices. A swing draw bar is going for 167.00, The tail peace is going for 50 to 70 dallors. The bottom pin and the holdiing bar is 30 dallors. They tell me that is what a tractor salvage is getting in price for those parts. What I am trying to do is find a person who really needs this stuff. If you look at this bar this is a shorter and made into a double hook type bar. I am not to sure if you be interested in it. Let me know I will work out a good price on the whole thing or just the bar . Brent
