are they correct for a 1943 John Deere A? First tractor restore. Thanks in advance for any info you may have.

For some reason it dropped the first part of my question. I am looking for any information about these flat bar steel wheels (rims).

If the spokes are welded to the rims, they are cut-down steel wheels. If the spokes are upset and forged to the rims they are factory replacements. To the best of my knowledge, and I've been wrong before.

Since so many tractors that were built on steel wheels were converted to rubber tires when they became available, I personally don't think a well done set of cut-downs detracts from the tractor. Some of the cut-downs were very crude and I'm not talking about that. Just as a lot of farmer mods or improvements don't detract, neither do well done cut-downs
