Wish I'd Saved My Old 14 Ft Cane Pole

Figured I'd never go fishing in a row boat again.
The snow storm drifted over the satellite dish and I can't climb or have enough huff and puff to blow it away. Several years ago it happened and I tied some boards together and removed the drift and the ability of the satellite to receive.
 
A roof rake handle works well for things like that. "Roof Razor" is one brand of rake that works really well for cleaning roofs fast.
 
That's why I had them put ours on the side of the house !
Plus I figured they would make the roof leak too.
 
Our single story house is set in a side hill, such that I can walk up around back, walk right up the roof, and clean off the dish, which is set on a pole on the northeast end of the house.
 
Part of my house is two story and the dish is on the South West side of the house above the single story part. It would be very tricky to get on the roof in this 30 mph wind with a walker. :)^D Sun should shine on it in a coupla hours once this storm moves out. I went out to the shed to look for some type of a pole and thought I was going to get stuck in a drift with my walker without trying to handle a pole. Decided if external_link moved alla my social security to external_link care and me not seeing it talked about on TV wouldn't make a difference anyway.
 
Sun has been out about ten minutes and the TV came back up. Sputters off and on but not much.
