Massey 35 loader frustration - Part II

I got everything lined and hooked up thanks to some advice yesterday. But now when I started the tractor to test the loader....nothing....I can feel the pulsing in lines but it won"t go up. The hydraulic level is up, diverter valve and lift controls in proper position. I know air got into the system but could this be the problem. I"m stuck again. I apologize if this similar to recent post but my search didn"t bring any recent info. Thanks again and I appreciate your comments.

First thing to check is the fluid level and make sure it is full if not a tad bit over full to make up for the air in the system. Are you running it off the tractor hyds or a crank driven pump??

Its runs off the crank driven pump.....I may add a little more hydraulic fluid to see if I get some kind of response.

So then the fluid tank is part of the loader frame also right?? If yes the suction hose going to the pump maybe going bad and as it sucks fluid the hose collapses so then the pump get little or no fluid to it

Crack one of the lines where it goes into the lift cylinder and see if you have fluid there.

Here is the set up........tried adding some fluid but didn't work. And the rear arms don't lift when close/open the selector. All this worked before I started my brilliant idea.

You may have the suction and pressure hoses 180 out and that will cause you the same type of problem because the pump can not suck fluid if the suction side is not in the fluid because the return is common to be up out of the fluid so if reversed that will cause you problems

Try this. Put the selector valve in the 3ph position, let the lift arms down a little, switch the the selector valve to the remote position and put the 3ph lever all the way up. Now try the loader.

I think theposter below is correct we had a Ford 600 with about the same setup we had to chain the lift arms down then put the control lever for the 3 point hitch all the way up. are you sure you have the lines in and out on the loader control valve right. I am just speaking to my phone that's why this is a little bit screwed up.

The longer hose seen here (with PTO lever) goes from one lift cylinder on the left side to the other one on the right side joined with a "T" fitting going up to the stick control.
