Russians invading Ukrain just gave me some money!

Russia doesn't know what the word "wuss" means. They never heard of it. Because of that, and civil unrest, they are increasing the commodity prices. Russia ruined farmers in 1978-79. Now, they are going to give USA farmers a bit of money back if they keep it up.

follow CBOT and any unsold DP you have in the bins. Now would be the time to get it gone. Get it gone before someone says, "hey, we still have a bumper crop."

When that happens, the price looses again.

Thanks Russia for being a jerk! Someone will stop you, but until then, let the good times roll! Blood money? possibly. For right now, no bloodshed. If that happens, I am selling on morals. Up 40-50 cents per gallon in a week and headed much higher.

Jimmy Carter ruined the US farm economy in 1978-1979. He stopped the US from exporting grain to Russia (that they could get from any other grain producing country on earth) but allowed IBM to continue shipping computers (that they couldn't get anywhere else on earth) to the USSR that they needed for the guidence systems on their nuclear tipped missiles.

We are cutting our military to before WW2 standards not that I
would want our military over there but we don't have the muscle
to even pose a threat.No one else will do anything except some
sanctions which only hurts the common people not their gov.

Red you better check the numbers. The numbers themselves lie. Pre WWII the average infantry division had about 12K men with 8K being combat troops. So 3/4ths of 450,000 K would be about 337500 combat soldiers. Today about 2/3rds are support to keep our modern equipment working. That gives us about 148500 combat troops at proposed levels.

We did not use contractors in combat areas in WW2.

I think Putan may have saved may lifes by getting there ahead of the Ukrian forces. He won the battle without a shot fired. Keep in mind he was protecting a Russian navel base. The Ukrain forces are wimps up against Russia. Keep in mind at one time, the Ukrain was part of Russia.

Ukraine wasn't part of Russia it was part of the Soviet Union which is a world of difference.Stalin starved the Ukrainian people back in the 1930's and forced them under Russian domination.Putin is Hitler reincarinate and he'll come knocking on the rest of Europe's door if left unchecked.

I remember when Jimmy Carter was going to punish the Russians, He imposed a grain embargo which destroyed the Farm Economy, forced young farmers off the land. gave us PIK which destroyed farm towns, when that didn't work boycotted the Olympics. Now it's Barry's turn. Putin is laughing at us and Chris Matthews has a tingle up his leg

My money is on Putin, he won't fire a shot, unless Ukrain fires first.

I think he has put a stop to the madness, possibly stopped another civil war.

At least hopefully no US boys will die over this mess.
