oliver self propelled chopper

Did anyone on here own one or operate one? I saw
what looked like such a machine on rvd channel
recently. What was the power under the hood.
Anybody got a pic of one working or just sitting
there?

There's one on the local Craigslist around here. If I didn't have to worry about my family I'd have snatched it up already.

I worked for an Oliver dealer and we sold one. There were several different engines. The prototypes had B-427 Continental. The diesels had the same engine (478) as used in the 20-2150 tractors> I don't remember if they turbocharged the chopper. The one we sold had a V-type G-M Lot of power lot cheap gas and a lot of noise but it would chop! A fox header fits on those choppers.
