Ok, I need some help from the wives on getting stains out of clothes.

Got mustard on one of my dress shirts and haven"t been able to get it out. Can"t use bleach, shirt has wide blue stripes. Any suggestions?

Got rust stains on an ivory colored shirt. I"ve tried hydrogen peroxide, but it didn"t help at all. Suggestions?

whink or wink i ferget works good on rust stains. in the laundry detergent isle small bottle about 10 oz of liquid.

Iron out at Wally's in a quart white plastic jug in the hardware section. It wil make all you whites white again without hurting the colors.

Glad to see I'm in good company. I can't pick-up a burger or a hot dog without getting mustard or ketchup on me somewhere. lol gobble

SWMBO said some type of enzyme soak for the mustard, Nancy. I use Iron Out for iron stains, make a paste with a little water and it does iron in. Good luck. SWMBO loves Texas, by the way, she ran some properties around Dallas in the middle 80's and loved the area and the people.

Ive always found a scissors will get a stain out...but ended up with a hole to deal with then (Im kidding...just some bad humor, but at least I admit it lol :)

Susan uses a generic 'laundry stain remover' from City Market (kroger).Comes in a spray bottle. She says it works well.

Dish soap like dawn works well as will the hand cleaners made for grease and shop stuff. Carb cleaner or brake cleaner spray also is likely to work

Try Sodium Thiosulfate (Photographers HYPO) - if it will remove grass stains from clothing it should remove mustard stains.
