Are you BLIND to my reply to your post back on the 22ND?

As I posted then, ASSUMING the oil pump is working and the rest of the engine is getting oil, and no oil is coming out of the block at the port in the rear cam bearing area the problem is in the rear cam bearing area... wrong bearing, improperly installed bearing, or damaged bearing.

Also, you would stand a better chance of a place to begin if asking on the Deere section of these boards. I am not qualified to give you a intelligent answer on that model.

Bob!!!!!!!!!!!I am not blind you also need to read the IT manual before you get to smart.the manual talks about a plug in the back of the block that could be in to far. I have just restored this tractor and I need someone that can remember for sure about the problem before I disasemble the tractor It you remember you said you worn't sure well I want someone to tell me that knows for sure

Hey jana hold your computer closer to your tractor so we can see your prolem  seriously I don't think anyone is going to tell you (for sure) what your trouble is. Instead of asking online get your wrenches out and figure it out. since you have restored I am sure you can figure it out good luck.

I know it says tractor talk. Just a suggestion to get you a better chance as not all of the Deere boys look at tractor talk.

I see you boys out there are full of talk and don't know much I guess I need to ask the girls!!!!!!!

I bought tractor havent' been inside engine runs good no reason to be inside the engine. I took the value cover off and no oil maybe one of you guys was the one !!!!!!!!!!!

easy now jana,,some of these good fellas can wind up pretty tite real quick , ,, but they know their stuff ,maybe the holes are not lined up on the cam bearing to allow oil to pass thru ,,fyi ,, my 730 case dribbles very little oil on the rocker arms,, but it does oil enuf ,, not sure if you are getting a little,, or no oil at all,,. ,,. I like rocker arms spittin oil in all directions ,,, maybe all motors are different

You wrote "Bob!!!!!!!!!!!I am not blind"... well, if you SAW the post why did you come back with "no one will help me???

ANYHOW, the plug in question is next to the rear of the back cam bearing, and gets installed after the cam bearing. I think I sorta covered it when I said "improperly installed cam bearing", as the plug is part of the job!

That being said, we here on the Forums don't have "x-ray vision" to see inside your engine block via the internet! NO one can tell you anything more, for sure, than what's been said. Your gonna have to pull the engine and (at the very least) pop the plug out next to the cam bearing, and have a LOOK. MOST likely, you'll have to pull the front of the engine, undo the valve train, and pull the cam, as well.

SORRY, but that's the way it is!

1st do you have a John Deer M Manual?

When & IF the tappet level shaft has been
removed be sure the oil holes are facing down.
Are they?
If the support stud have been removed, Be sure
they are in the correct location? Are they?
What kind of OIL pressure ( POUNDS) does this
engine Carrry?

after looking at the previous thread...
If you have removed the oil supply line
& No Oil is coming out & the line & isn't
plugged , the the oil supply problem is
is not in the head, it's lower & the first
thing to check if the oil Pump is Pumping oil
would be the rear cam shaft bearing as Bob
has stated.

Jana, since you are new here, a few pointers. First, I was one who answered your first time. I don't know JDs but I do know that sometimes people will pressurize the oil system and not get oil to the top not knowing that the camshaft needs to be in just the right position. 2nd, don't take Bob's capitals personally. He is a little short on diplomacy because he lives in a cold dark place (ND), l but he knows his stuff. Third, none of us here get paid for this. fourth, Yes this is tractor talk but JD is more specific than tractor so you should expect a higher likelihood of response to a specific question on a specific board.
