I still have not been able to fix the oil leak on the LB620 steering motor. Leak from the steering column seems to occur when we use the backhoe. Maybe the problem is a pressure relief valve? Can anyone help? Thanks!

"Leak from the steering column seems to occur when we use the backhoe."

I assume you have already replaced the seal in the steering and it still leaks?

Not familiar with your particular application, but I would suspect there is a "return to tank" line from the steering column. It may be incorporated into the same return from the backhoe.

If it is, it may be restricted,(clogged return filter, kinked line, improper installation if not factory) feeding back pressure from the back hoe return line. If possible you might try to run a separate return line from the steering gear to the tank. Just a sight unseen thought...
