Old Abe look alike

I was driving down a back road this evening and here he is, sitting on a fence post right on the edge of the road. I was able to back up and get a couple shots off before he flew away. Pretty close to the Case eagle pose.

That is an awesome photo. I got to see Old Abe also for the first time in my life. A bald eagle was on my farm friday afternoon. The bird landed in the grove in the top of the trees. I seen it gracefully fly over my head maybe 50'-60' above my head. What an awesome sight! They have such huge wingspans. They are so graceful in the air. It was fascinating for me to see an eagle on my own farm. Kind of like a dream come true.

That is a really great shot! if he had his head turned the other way it would be even closer,, thanks for sharing, here is the one I had carved from wood

Really nice.
As for the original photo, someone could just invert/ mirror image the photo and it would be right.
 
Hi Maybe you should call him old Eric and leave him pointing Right. Them Green guys are getting pretty picky about there name being used on anything but what they licence. Wouldn"t want the Big red guys coming after you for copy right on Abe L.O.L!
Nice wildlife Picture though,I Got 2 coyotes near sit on the end of the tractor hood with it running and me sitting in the cab, down at my barns. I should take a picture of them, Before they get fed lead in the neighbors feed lot.
